Angus Roast Beef Chili

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 pound Black Bear® U.S.D.A. Choice Roast Beef, shredded & sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 small red bell pepper, diced finely
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed*you may adjust the crushed red pepper flakes according to taste*
  • 8 ounce tomato sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a large skillet heat the oil over medium high heat.

Add onions, peppers & garlic to the pan. Cook until the onions become translucent, about 2 minutes.

Add the Angus Roast Beef & cook until the meat in heated through about 3 minutes. Add the chili powder, red pepper flakes & tomato sauce.

Continue to cook, stirring occasionally until all of the flavors have combined about 8-10 minutes.
