Instructions:
Place the kielbasa on the grill over medium heat and brown on all sides, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.
To make the sauce, heat the butter in a sauté pan over high heat, toss in the garlic, and sauté until slightly softened, about 1 minute. Add the bacon, sautéing until crisp, then add the onion and bell pepper, sautéing until slightly softened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in the flour and paprika and add the wine to deglaze, stirring with a wooden spoon to loosen any browned bits on the bottom of the pan. Bring the wine to a boil, and cook for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes and season with salt and pepper.
To serve, slice the kielbasa on a bias and fan out over German Potato Salad. Stir the sour cream into the sauce, and spoon the sauce over the kielbasa, garnishing with chives.
