Instructions:
Grill the beef frank.
Slice the torpedo roll lengthwise, then remove some of the inner bread to make space for toppings.
Spread the bottom half of the roll with Black Bear® Sweet & Hot Mustard. Add Black Bear® Peppadew Cheddar then add the chili.
Add Black Bear® deli beef frank. Top with lettuce & sautéed onions.
Chili (please note, for this recipe we recommend using a store bought chili to save time)
In a large skillet heat the oil over medium high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Continue to cook until meat is browned.
Drain grease & reserve the meat.
Add onions, peppers & garlic to the pan. Cook until the onions become translucent, about 2 minutes.
Return the beef to the pan. Add chili powder, red pepper flakes & tomato sauce.
Continue to cook, stirring occasionally until all of the flavors have combined, about 20 minutes.
