Asian Lo Mein Salad

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Black Bear® Gourmet Cooked Ham, julienned
  • 11/2 pound lo mien noodles, pre cooked
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup snow peas, juilenned
  • 1 cup scallion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon grass, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup dark sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soya sauce
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust according to your taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

To Make Dressing:

In a medium mixing bowl, combine sesame oil, olive oil, rice wine vinegar, soya sauce, sugar, red pepper flakes & ginger. Whisk until thoroughly combined

To Make the Salad:

In a large bowl combine Dietz & Watson® Black Forest Ham, lo mien noodles, red onion, carrots, bean sprouts, snow peas & lemon grass

Toss gently with dressing

Add salt & pepper to taste
