The Horseradish Roast Beef

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Toast the bread.

Spread each slice of bread with half of the sandwich spread and half of the horseradish sauce.

In a small mixing bowl, gently toss together the onion, pickle, prepared horseradish, black pepper, pepper flakes and roast beef.

Pile on top of each slice of bread and top with slices of the cheddar.

Place in 325°F oven 5-6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Serve open faced with potato salad

Shopping List:

  • 2 slices whole or 7-grain bread
  • 1 teaspoon Black Bear® Sandwich Spread
  • 1 teaspoon Black Bear® Hot & Chunky Horseradish Sauce
  • 4 half slices red onion
  • 1/2 Kosher Dill Pickle, finely julienned
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 5 ounces Black Bear® U.S.D.A. Choice Roast Beef, shaved
  • 3 ounces Black Bear® Horseradish Cheddar Cheese, thinly sliced
  • Black Bear® Potato Salad, for serving
